Amber Diaz is a Cuban-American musician, curator, and creative based between Miami and New York City. She has performed at major venues including the Miami Beach Bandshell, the Kaseya Center with the Miami Heat, and iconic NYC stages like The Bitter End and Baby’s All Right.
Her work has been featured in outlets such as People Magazine and WBGO, recognizing her as both a rising artist and emerging voice in the industry. In addition to performing, Amber is an active curator and creative manager, focused on building platforms and opportunities for the next generation of artists.
Currently studying music and politics at The New School with a concentration in foreign affairs, she is developing a multidisciplinary path that connects music, global culture, and creative leadership.

Today, Amber continues to expand her impact across genres and disciplines, including co-producing The New School’s Black History Month showcase alongside acclaimed artist Charlotte Small. She studies under renowned mentors such as Reginald Workman, Marlon Saunders, Cyrus Chestnut, and Dirk Freymuth, sharpening her craft among some of the field’s most respected voices.
An active performer, she plays in multiple ensembles at The New School—including the Afro-Cuban Ensemble, Motown Ensemble, and Nu Metal Ensemble—while also booking solo and duo jazz performances at notable NYC venues like the Walker Hotel, Red Lion, and Bowery Palace. Alongside developing her own original music, Amber performs with BBchicano and Misery & Company, while simultaneously serving as full-time manager for both acts, further cementing her role as both artist and industry force.
In addition to her individual accomplishments, Amber is building her own publishing company and digital platform, AMBSEYE, dedicated to amplifying diverse voices through art. Through AMBSEYE, she produces live events across Miami, New York City, and Los Angeles, with showcases at venues such as The Mint and Shrine Harlem.
The platform has also entered the release space with BBCHICANO DEMOS, now available on all streaming platforms, marking its first official publishing project. Expanding beyond music, AMBSEYE is currently developing Art and the Subconscious, a series of articles and testimonials from interdisciplinary creatives, featured in the Projects tab.
